黄康宁 (Kangning Huang)

         黄康宁现任上海纽约大学环境研究助理教授。黄教授于2020年在耶鲁大学环境科学学院获得博士学位。加入上海纽约大学前，他曾任美国国家大气研究中心高级研究项目博士后研究员。他的科研与教学围绕城市化对气候变化带来的影响展开。城市化引起的土地覆盖变化通过改变地表水文气象过程影响区域气候，而城市化引起的生活方式变化通过增加化石能源消耗影响全球气候。然而，城市化对气候变化带来的跨尺度影响并非一成不变；相反，这些对气候的影响取决于人们将在哪里及如何建设未来的城市。通过开发全球范围规模的城市化场景，黄教授的研究探索广义上城市气候未来变化的可能性，以及为实现更可持续的城市气候未来所需的干预措施。他的研究得到了美国国家航空和宇宙航行局（NASA）（通过NESSF研究员基金）、美国国家科学基金会（NSF）（通过NCAR博士后研究员基金）和其他科研机构的支持。2025-2026学年，黄教授荣获上海纽约大学“优秀教学奖”（Teaching Excellence Award）
