    Eric H. Mao is Assistant Vice Provost of Non-Degree Programs at NYU Shanghai, where he leads the university's initiatives in executive education, custom organizational training, professional certificates, lifelong learning, and adult courses. Previously, he served as Dean of Graduate and Advanced Education.

    Before joining NYU Shanghai, he was Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Lecturer of Law at the Peking University School of Transnational Law, where he oversaw all curricular matters and taught courses in legal methodology, legal writing, legal research, contract drafting, and academic writing. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
